Giving back to the communities where affiliated brokers and agents live and work is an integral part of the culture at Century 21 Real Estate LLC, and the iconic CENTURY 21^® brand celebrates the relentless team at CENTURY 21 American Homes for its fundraising efforts throughout metropolitan New York, which raised more than $250,000 in contributions. Led by broker owners Thomas Gallagher and Mike Litzner, CENTURY 21 American Homes gives to many philanthropic organizations including Easterseals (the global brand’s philanthropic partner since 1979), C21Gives, the internal fund to help C21^® brokers and agents, local community members in crisis, food pantries, and ‘Toys for Tots.’ To bolster their in-house efforts, the duo recently formed their own foundation, the “Heart of American Homes,” where agents raise and contribute their own funds, and Gallagher and Litzner match those funds up to $50,000 a year.

“The team here knows that we focus on helping buyers and sellers achieve the best real estate outcomes, and as a result of delivering extraordinary experiences to consumers, we are helping to build better communities,” explained Gallagher.

“When we first started, Tom and I both wanted to create a company known for its culture of supporting agents and for helping families and individuals achieve the dream of homeownership,” added Litzner. “We want to be the most trusted voice for real estate in our market.”

Gallagher and Litzner and the team at CENTURY 21 American Homes run several fundraising events each year including a “Night at the Races,” a Bocce tournament and a month-long lottery event.
